Agreement

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Wingman at wingmanpilot.app and related services. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

The service

Wingman provides tools for airline pilots, including flight preparation aids (for example flight lookup, weather, ATIS, NOTAM visualisation, taxi averages, live tracking cues, and optional AI audio briefings), logbook features, study tools, and related utilities. Features may change, be limited by a free trial, or require a paid plan in the future.

Not for operational use

Wingman is a situational-awareness and personal-organisation aid only. It is not an approved source of operational information.

Always use your operator’s official documentation, dispatch, and briefing systems for flight planning and operational decisions. Data from third-party feeds (including FlightAware, NOTAM providers, weather services, ADS-B aggregators, and AI-generated summaries or speech) may be incomplete, delayed, or incorrect. Digital ATIS and similar sections may carry an explicit “not for operational use” notice — treat all Prep content with the same caution.

Accounts and eligibility

You must be able to form a binding contract and be an adult. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping sign-in credentials secure. You may sign in with Google, Apple, email magic link, or other methods we enable.

Provide accurate information where requested (for example airline preference for onboarding). Do not impersonate others or create accounts for abusive automation.

Free trial and paid access

Prep features may be offered on a free trial (for example a limited number of days and/or Prep sessions). When a trial ends, continued access may require a paid subscription or other arrangement we offer. We may change trial limits or pricing with reasonable notice in the product or on the site.

We may suspend or limit access if we detect abuse, scraping, shared credential abuse, or attempts to bypass authentication or trial accounting.

Acceptable use

• Use Wingman only for lawful, personal or professional crew purposes consistent with these Terms.
• Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, overload, or circumvent rate limits, auth gates, or billing.
• Do not misuse APIs, keys, or cached data for bulk harvesting or redistribution.
• Do not upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content into logbook or other user fields.
• Do not represent Wingman outputs as official ATC, dispatch, or operator briefings.

Your content

You retain ownership of content you enter (for example logbook remarks). You grant us a licence to host, process, and sync that content as needed to provide the service. You are responsible for not including information you are not allowed to store in a third-party app under your operator’s policies.

Intellectual property

Wingman, its branding, UI, and original content are owned by us or our licensors. Third-party data and marks (airlines, airports, providers) remain their owners’. These Terms do not grant you rights to copy or redistribute the product except as needed for normal use of the app.

Third-party services

The app depends on third-party services (hosting, auth, aviation data, AI providers, maps, and similar). Their availability and terms are outside our full control. Outages or changes at those providers may affect Wingman.

Disclaimer of warranties

Wingman is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that data, summaries, or briefings are accurate, complete, or suitable for operational use.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or flight-related costs arising from your use of Wingman. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us for Wingman in the 12 months before the claim or (b) €50.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your use of Wingman outputs for operational decisions contrary to the “Not for operational use” section.

Termination

You may stop using Wingman at any time and may request account deletion. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the service. Provisions that by nature should survive (including disclaimers, liability limits, and IP) will survive termination.

Changes

We may update these Terms as the product evolves. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. If a change is material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you (for example in-app or by email). Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence require otherwise. Courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to those mandatory protections.
